PPAP 4th Edition - Production Parts Approval Process
The purpose of PPAP is to ensure that all client engineering records and specifications are understood clearly. Although similar to APQP, its focus is on approving a product that has already gone through the APQP process.

MSA 4th Edition - Analysis of the Measurement System
The Analysis of the Measurement System is basically divided into two parts: the one that a-whips the methodological part of a laboratory of measurements and calibrations and the one that is in charge of the statistics to assure the quality of the results of the measurements. MSA unifies criteria on the way in which a measurement system is accepted or released, focusing mainly on the studies and control of the variability of measurement systems and their relationship with production processes. Among the most common terms of the MSA is GR & R, which is basically a statistical tool that quantifies the variability of the measurement system, its sources, and its relation to the variability of the production process.
CEP - Statistical Process Control
CEP is simply statistical process control with a well-defined orientation in relation to automotive processes. It is related to MSA primarily in long-term capability studies. In fact, this topic can be replaced by any statistical quality control, but its status issued by the AIAG makes it practically normative.
